For any trip, the first meal is crucial. You have to set a good tone. Nic and I are huge birria fans, and so this was a no-brainer.

Ok, first, the tacos. These were very solid tacos- as far as birria goes, they were around on-par, and as far as tacos go, they were incredible. The meat was great, and the shell was great too; all was a little too moist for me, especially when dipped in the consome. Spices were on point. Very decent tacos to start us off. Consome was the best I've ever had.

Next were the quesadillas. Holy. These were the best quesedillas I have ever had. Super crunchy but nice and juicy on the inside, meat was tender and tasty, veggies and salsa complimented the dish. But what stole the show was the cheese. It was perfect- tasty as hell, and the cheese pull was fantastic. This was a good meal.
