quick chinese eats in flushing
After a long day in Manhattan, we swung by Flushing for some Chinese eats. We visited two vendors directly adjacent to the Flushing stop of the Q65 bus.
I started with a deep-fried pork bun, which was underwhelming. The dough was underprepared, and the portioning was off- too little meat, too much dough. However, I am not nearly sufficiently experienced to judge Chinese street food, so take my writing with a grain of salt. I personally would not recommend this as a snack.

Next, we went down the street for scallion and onion pockets- scallion pancake filled with stir-fried egg and veggies. It was fantastic, and lived up to the hype. A (relatively) healthy street snack that you should definitely stop by for. The egg tasted particularly good, and the flakiness of the pancake was welcome.
