birthday cake cookie from funny face bakery

I’m noticing a pattern with levain, funny face bakery, etc.- massive cookies, very dense, crunchy exterior with a soft interior. There are some bad trends in the universe- this is not one of them. I love this type of cookie.

Quick review on this one. If you’re near funny face bakery in Manhattan, it’s a solid option. Nic got the birthday cake cookie, and it tasted great. It’s a heavy cookie, but worth it. I don’t think it’s any different than a cookie from levain or a similar bakery.
