dinner from nan xian xiao long bao

NYC

I really like Nan Xian Xiao Long Bao. Their dumplings are pretty well-known for being delicious and authentic. Their other dishes are pretty solid, but certainly don’t stand out the way the dumplings do. If you ever go, you should defiantly opt for the soup dumplings; I’m not a big soup dumpling fan in general, which is why I went with the pan fried pork buns. As an app, we had the scallion pancake.

Scallion Pancake

This was solid. It’s a fried pancake; what more should I say? The sauce was pretty good. I was happy with this dish.

Pan Fried Pork Buns

I really enjoyed these pork buns. I was disappointed with the ratio of meat to dough; I’ve had pork buns with more filling. However, the tastes were excellent, and the dough was great.
