burrito from guakamole’s west palm beach

After lounging around in the sun all morning, I welcomed the fifteen-minute walk from the hotel to a little Mexican restaurant called “Guakamole's.” Compared to the strip mall next door, Guakamole's has a pretty awesome atmosphere. It's got good music, cool stained glass, and a garden right out front. The food was great too- I went with the chorizo burrito and the Jamaican agua fresca.

First off, look at that burrito. It's beautiful. The wrap job? Impeccable. The browned tortilla? Perfect. The salsa? Mouth-watering. The burrito itself tasted pretty great. The chorizo definitely added to the flavor, but the salsa, guac, and sour cream were the best part. The rice and veggies were pretty solid as well.

Chorizo: 7.5/10

Tortilla: 9/10

Salsa: 7/10

Guac: 9/10

Sour cream: 9/10

Lettuce/corn: 7/10

Overall: 8.5/10

The agua de Jamaica was also superb.

Overall: 9/10
